In any case, just remember that will not lead to "preference", but to accurate imaging(which is actually more in line with my ideals). Once you get that, the rest could truly be on the recording. That would be ideal!
DanTheManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06523842666934527611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6925622045053615520.post-47776152907169984832015-02-11T11:31:18.629-08:002015-02-11T11:31:18.629-08:00Found the paper : http://decoy.iki.fi/dsound/ambis...Found the paper : http://decoy.iki.fi/dsound/ambisonic/motherlode/source/Optimum%20loudspeaker%20directional%20patterns_Kates_1980.pdf

Strangely the speaker needs to be more directional as you more closer ! It just comes from a lack of understanding of small room acoustics. One thing is sure as well: the closer the port to the HF driver, the more response deviation it causes. Smaller wavelengths just get mangled by the ports.DanTheManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06523842666934527611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6925622045053615520.post-81262660145734807412015-01-28T08:23:21.706-08:002015-01-28T08:23:21.706-08:00(not sure if my earlier reply went through)
